USA 2016 - Day 3
Day three was Erik's birthday, so we celebrated with brunch at LEONA, a trendy restaurant in Venice Beach. The meal was great, almost as good as lunch at Otium! Erik and Krisite then headed to the airport to fly back to New York, while the rest of us wandered along the beach itself. Venice Beach is definitely a lot grittier than Santa Monica. Later we went shopping at the Del Amo Fashion Centre in Torrance, reputed to be America's largest shopping mall. It was also where they filmed the shopping mall scenes in the movie Bad Santa.
