Today was our last day in the US. Our flight didn't leave till the evening, though, so we had the whole day in SF. In the morning we did some last minute shopping, including a visit to Whole Foods, then, after checking out and eating lunch at a noodle place, we headed to the newly reopened San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, which was just a few minutes walk from our hotel. It cost us $25 each to get in, which seemed pretty expensive, especially considering the two incredible art museums in LA we went to were free! But we did see some amazing work.
We took a shuttle to the airport ($18 each as opposed to $70 for the taxi from the airport when we arrived) and had a drink and a snack in the Singapore Airlines lounge before boarding our Air NZ flight to Auckland.
